I am a Suva-based independent journalist, editor and publisher covering Fijian politics, current affairs and news. My speciality has been in print journalism and editing. I was a correspondent for Radio Australia Pacific, Radio New Zealand International and Pacific Magazine, and later editor of Mai Life and Republika magazines. I have also had stints as a sub-editor with The Fiji Times newspaper and have some experience in television production. Aside from journalism, I have been a communications officer at the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre and Oxfam in the Pacific. In recent years, my work has extended to media research and praxis and publication/academic editing.
