The Echoes of the Mountains
By Qaisar Iqbal
In the heart of Pakistan’s war-torn valleys, where the echoes of gunfire mingle with the whispers of the wind, two young souls embark on a perilous journey for survival. The Echoes of the Mountains is a gripping tale of resilience, hope, and the unbreakable spirit of those caught in the crossfire of terror.
When the Taliban seizes control of their hometown, Aimal and Sitara—two teenagers from different backgrounds—are forced to flee into the unforgiving mountains. With every step, they navigate not only the treacherous terrain but also the harsh realities of war, betrayal, and the ghosts of their past. Pursued by militants and haunted by memories of their lost families, they must rely on their wits, courage, and an unlikely alliance to escape the darkness that looms over their homeland.
