About Mwaniki
Mwaniki Njache is a Documentary Filmmaker based in Nairobi, Kenya, he works as a  director, scriptwriter and producer. He has had the great opportunity to work in both international and local productions, including award winning films.
He has directed local feature films, short films, television drama series, TV commercials and documentaries.
He also directs for the stage and has worked as an actor/director/writer in numerous stage productions. 
He has a passion for making documentaries that tell the African story and had recently  directed “My Friend Ngige” a documentary on mental health and homelessness, and “Nairobi Hotline”, a documentary on a day in the life of Njeri Migwi a human rights activist working in the area of S & GBV.
He is a director of Take Nine Limited, working in the film, media and creative arts space.
He believes that leaning is a constant in life.
