Melkamu Abebe is a freelancer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He is working for VOA Horn Service since December 2018 as Horn Stringer in Afan Oromo and Amharic languages. He had been working for Ethiopian News Agency for about two years as a reporter and Producer. And he had an experience of FM and AM radio stations for Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) and Nekemte Fana FM 96.1 for more than 4 years as a reporter and senior reporter. And He was also working on his own infotainment radio radio show called "Cumboo", in Fana FM 96.1. He was an amatuer radio program producer on local educational radio station while he was practicing the field of study by his own in university, high schools and elementary schools.
