About Julian

Julian Sojka (b. 1986, Łódź) is a Polish cinematographer, photographer, and director. 
He is a member of the Polish Union of Photographic Artists (ZPAF) and the Polish Filmmakers Association (SFP). A graduate of the Leon Schiller National Film School (PWSFTviT) in Łódź, he holds MA in Cinematography.

He has directed short documentaries, music videos, and student films, and has worked as a cinematographer and camera operator on numerous projects across fiction, documentary, animation, and commercial media. His photography has been exhibited in solo and group shows and published in various outlets such as National Geographic, Tygodnik Powszechny, and Vogue. His images are also archived by agencies including Agencja Wyborcza, East News, Reuters, Agence VU, and Imago.
