About Bianca

Bianca Zanini is an award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker.

She works primarily as a video journalist, producing and hosting pieces for TV and online media such as VICE, DR and BROADLY in the US, Europe and Brazil. She continuously writes articles on various social issue themes and directs her own projects independently. 

At the moment Bianca Zanini is directing her first feature length film on children and minors serving sentences of life without parole in the US (see Documentary Filmmaker).

Bianca Zanini is Danish-Brazilian and has spent the last decade between Copenhagen, New York, and Rio de Janeiro. Deciding to expand her already uniquely international profile and focus on the Middle East, Bianca Zanini is now based mostly in Tel Aviv, Israel.

She is adding Hebrew to her languages-skills, which already include fluent Portuguese, English, Danish and Spanish and some French. 

Her documentary "ASEXUAL LIFE" was recently selected for the prestigious Canadian Hot Docs International Film Festival. 

With a background in international broadcast and written journalism, and in Human Rights Communications at the United Nations, Bianca Zanini has built up a broad set of skills that show ambition, curiosity and a strong recognizable style of work.
