Abdikarim Salah

Abdikarim Saed Salah is a seasoned journalist based in Hargeisa, Somaliland, with extensive experience in television broadcasting and program production, I am also a multimedia journalist who can record videos, edit and create complete content and I also have experience managing social media.
I currently serve as a TV presenter and program producer at Horn Cable TV, a prominent Somali television channel. In addition to his journalistic duties, I hold the position of Vice Chairman, stepping in to manage the organization in the absence of the Chairman.
My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, complemented by a Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.

My early journalism career began in 2006 as a website reporter while he was still in secondary school, simultaneously working part-time as an internet café assistant. In 2008, he transitioned to television, becoming a regional broadcast journalist for Horn Cable TV in Berbera.
In 2017 I moved in Hargeisa when I was assigned as a special reporter for Horn Cable TV, covering the presidential campaign of Muse Bihi Abdi, who went on to win the election. Since then, I have been based in Hargeisa, where I continue my work as a TV presenter and producer. 

In 2020, I take on additional responsibilities as the Vice Chairman of Horn Cable TV, all while continuing to contribute to the channel as a journalist.
